Fab Fitter/Welder - Experience Required

• 2-5 years minimum experience.
• Fitter/Welder for Aerospace applications including large structural aluminum and steel frames.
• Simple to complex weldments, hand fit.
• Prep / Fit jobs per direction of Foreman
• Steel requires Mig and Tig welding, Aluminum requires Tig welding.
• Fitter must be capable of doing some pre-weld
• Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design drawings. Must have enough computer experience to pick up dimensions and look at views on the computer and read blueprints to build from them to tight tolerances.
• Must have tools (including layout tools)
• Adhere to AWS requirements (Vision tests, WPS, PQR, WPQR, etc)
• General knowledge of fabrication/weld standards and procedures, such as good starts/stops/wraps, identifying porosity, discontinuities, etc.
• Receiving Inspection, unload/load trucks using overhead crane / forklift
• Preventive maintenance of welding machines
• General knowledge of Catia/Enovia .

• Paid weekly
• Work hours: Day Shift - Monday - Friday, Saturday until noon (overtime required as needed).

Wage negotiable based on experience.

Must have reliable transportation.
