Job Opportunity: Experienced Drill Operator
Location: Utah
Industry: Residential & Commercial Micropiles
About Us:
We specialize in micropiles for residential and commercial projects, with a focus on Geotechnical construction. We're looking for a skilled drill operator to join our team in Utah.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced drill operator with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the Geotech construction field, particularly with tieback and micropile drilling. The ideal candidate will have experience operating drills similar to TEI, Klemm, Camachio, Soilmec, and Hutte,
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years operating tieback and micropile drills.
- Equipment Expertise: Knowledge of dual rotary drill heads, tooling setups including duplex and down-hole hammers.
- Certifications: OSHA 10-hour certification or higher, First Aid & Safety training.
- Drilling Applications: Proficient in Tie-Back, Micropile, Anchor, Soil Nail, Cement Grouting, and Chemical Grouting.
Desired Skills:
- Equipment Operation: Experience with skid steers, hydraulic excavators, forklifts, concrete mixers, pumps, and wheeled front-end loaders.
- Mechanical Skills: Basic troubleshooting and repair of heavy equipment.
- Job Site Duties: Rigging, hoisting, ground manipulation, and maintaining equipment to manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, inspect, and maintain drilling equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with cement mixers, compressors, generators, pumps, and other power equipment.
Labor & Physical Requirements:
In addition to operating heavy machinery, candidates will also be expected to:
- Perform basic labor tasks, such as digging, backfilling, and site preparation.
- Operate hand and power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills, etc.).
- Clean and maintain construction sites.
