Monday-Friday: 6am-2:30pm

Summary: Operates fabricating machines such as panel saws, slider, power shaper, post forming machine, spray guns, power tools and power router. Cuts particle board and plastic laminates, and fabricates worksurfaces and shelves by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well with co-workers and supervisors. Must have a good attitude about the work and maintain an excellent attendance record.

Cut laminates and particle board to size using panel saw. Moves laminates and particle board to next operation. Assists in shaping particle board using power shaper. Applies spray glue onto laminate an particle board, attaching materials together. Uses post-forming equipment to produce rolled front edges. Installs metal threaded inserts into worksurfaces using locating templates, drills and installation tools. Examine laminates for defects.

Uses power hand-held router to trim excess laminate from worksurface edges. Uses small hand tools such as sanders, files, rasps, ect. Cleans excess glue from worksurfaces using a solvent or other cleaning method(s).

Employee must follow all company policies including activities, conduct and safety. Violation of company policies are subject to disciplinary actions including termination.
