Electrical Controls Technician 

·        Position Title: Electrical Controls Technician

·        Position Location: Denver, CO

·        Position Type: Full-Time

·        Pay Range: $32.00 - $41.00 per hour based on experience

·        Industry: Commercial / Industrial Facilities

A large electrical contractor has immediate openings for Electrical Controls Technicians in Denver, CO. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and hold a valid Colorado Electrical License.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

·        Install EMT conduit, Uni-strut supports, basket tray, and other electrical components

·        Install control and network cables associated with ASI bus and PLC inputs/outputs

·        Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and components

·        Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions

·        Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality

·        Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

·        Adhere to all electrical codes, standards, and regulations

·        Perform regular maintenance to prevent system breakdowns

·        Provide technical support and guidance to team members and customers

 

Job Qualifications:

·        5+ years’ experience in electrical control systems

·        Journeyman Electrician license (Colorado required; Master is a plus)

·        Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical control panels

·        Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations

·        Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

·        Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

·        Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

·        Capable of working independently or as part of a team
