Irontown Modular is an innovative custom modular home builder that is looking for an experienced Production Manager. In this position the Production Manager is wholly responsible for the production floor. This position is responsible for the activities and efficiency of every individual whether subcontractor or employee, and every process.

The Production Manager will have responsibility to formulate an overall job schedule, with approximate schedule dates for each step of construction. This position will additionally hold the charge of calling each subcontractor at least two weeks in advance to schedule the work to be performed. Plus, will do take-offs for framing and other stages of construction as needed, and order the necessary materials to ensure the jobs are completed on time. Quality Control is imperative and will be one of the Production Manager's primary responsibilities. The Project Binder (blue book) will be maintained for each job containing the Quality Control Checklists and any pertinent information for each stage of construction. Regular inventory for equipment, materials and tools should be performed and a record of equipment with serial numbers maintained. Finally, the Production Manager will oversee the work of all Factory employees, create lists for the work to be accomplished, and ensure that they are carried out. Daily Logs should contain activity for the day, including the number of workers in the factory, and what they were doing that day.
