Job Description

Prospero are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to project manage audio visual and technical solution installations at exhibitions, conferences and events, globally.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong track record of project management within the live events sector, technical knowledge, exceptional client service and organisational skills. They will also possess the ability to multitask and should thrive under pressure in a fast paced environment.\n\nYou'll work hard but will have the opportunity to grow your career in this exciting role.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nResponsibility for a wide variety of global projects\nTravelling globally to oversee and manage events on-site\nFully oversee all aspects of projects from initial design, budgeting, planning and preparation through to delivery and post event review meetings\nCarrying out site visits / venue assessments\nTaking a client brief, and providing a quotation that is both commercially and technically sound, in a timely fashion\nOutlining project timeframes and budgets. Maintaining control of project costs, helping to ensure that projects generate specified profit margins whilst maintaining exceptionally high quality standards\nWorking with technical drawings and stand plans, liaising with our technical team to obtain CAD drawings and 3D visualisations \n\nQualifications and pre-requisites\n\nExperience in project management of high end technical events within the exhibition and conference sectors.\nA broad technical understanding (ideally across all areas of video, sound, lighting and IT).\nCommercial awareness and budgetary skills - demonstrate a clear understanding of company business and the ability to effectively balance cost, quality and ensure profitability.\nThe ability to work effectively across multiple projects within a fast paced environment and delegate appropriately\nFlexibility to deal with the demands of working in the live event industry with the ability to facilitate overtime including early mornings, late evening and some weekend working\nThe ability and willingness to travel - it is expected that you will predominantly be working in and around the London area, however you will need to travel to our head office in Essex and further afield as required\nHighly client focused \nFull clean UK Driving licence\nRigging experience but not essential------\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for those who are passionate about live technical event delivery.
