Excellent opportunity for a Payments Lawyer with a fast-expanding fintech business - London (hybrid)

Job Description

We are excited to be working with a fast-expanding fintech business in their search for an experienced Payments Lawyer with strong expertise in financial services regulation. The role involves advising on payments, e-money, open banking, and related regulatory frameworks, including PSD2/PSD3, FCA requirements, AML/CTF, and consumer protection. You will provide strategic legal guidance on product launches, compliance, licensing, and regulatory engagement, while supporting commercial agreements with payment service providers, fintechs, and financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with proven experience in payments and financial regulatory matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU regulatory regimes (FCA, PRA, PSD2/PSD3, EMD2, AML).
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Experience advising on cross-border payment products, partnerships, and licensing.
