Job Description:

Search Solution Group is partnering with a client in Hampton, VA to identify a creative and detail-oriented Event Planner to support the planning and execution of a wide range of events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating logistics, and has a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept through completion
• Manage event logistics including timelines, layouts, vendors, and on-site coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with catering, audiovisual, security, and external service providers
• Oversee event setup, breakdown, and on-site operations
• Manage event budgets, contracts, and invoices
• Ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations
• Address and resolve any issues that arise before, during, or after events

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event planning, event coordination, or hospitality
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
• Proficient in basic computer applications and scheduling tools
