Event planner and Marketing coordinator

Village Bowl is seeking a motivated and organized Event Planner to coordinate and sell group events, parties, and banquets at our busy bowling and entertainment center. The ideal candidate is friendly, sales-driven, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to event inquiries by email and phone
• Sell and book events by understanding guest needs and recommending packages
• Prepare and send invoices
• Communicate event details clearly to kitchen staff, and management
• Maintain an accurate calendar of upcoming events
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Assist with on-site event coordination when needed

Qualifications

• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple events at once
• Proficient in basic computer programs (email, spreadsheets, invoicing systems)
• Experience in event planning, hospitality, or sales
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
