With our recent success in securing commercial maintenance contracts for EV charging stations nationwide, we’re expanding our team.\n\nTo support our growth, we’re looking for talented, electrically qualified Service Engineers to help continue driving our success. If you’re excited by the idea of shaping the future of electric vehicles and want to be part of an innovative team, keep reading!\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll join our dynamic, field-based team. Your role will focus on the commissioning, maintenance, and support of fast, rapid, and ultra-rapid EV chargers.
If you enjoy hands-on work, thrive in the field, and are dedicated to delivering top-quality results, we want to hear from you!\n\nLocation:\n\nWe’re hiring Engineers to cover Nationwide & Local contracts \n\nResponsibilities: \n\nService, upgrade, and troubleshoot AC and DC EV chargers. \nMaintain a strong focus on safety at all times; this includes reporting of unsafe events, conditions and incidents, and by supporting business & customer led safety initiatives. \nConduct electrical testing and periodic inspections of charging equipment and associated supplies. \nEnsure all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and on schedule. \nCommunicate effectively with contractors and customers, both on-site and digitally. \nManage and report your own vehicle Stock levels \nAnalyse and process data to optimize contract performance. \nHandle emergency repairs and support out-of-hours work by being part of a regular standby call out rota. \nComplete product training and achieve Highways Sector Scheme accreditation. Customer specific product training. This will include overseas travel. \nSupport and work in other areas when required (this may involve staying away overnight from time to time) \nAssist from time-to-time engineers working of traffic signals & associated equipment. \n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\n Essential \n\nExperience working with low and medium voltage electrical systems. \nA proactive problem-solver who is eager to learn and thrives in a team environment. \nExperience work with IT equipment. \nSafety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors. \nA full driving license and proximity to one of our depots. Desirable \n\nA Level 3 Electrical qualification (e.g., EAL, City & Guilds) \nECS Gold Card and City & Guilds 2391- 52 qualifications or equivalent \nCity & Guilds (phone number removed) qualifications or equivalent \n18th edition BS7671 qualification \nPhotovoltaic panel systems experience \nBattery energy storage systems experience \nExperience is using IT equipment and software \nHERS registered \n\nWe offer: \n\nCompetitive base salary plus annual bonus \n26 days holiday (rising to 29 with service \n37.5-hour working week \nCompany vehicle. \nExcellent pension scheme with up to 10% employer contribution \nFlexible benefits tailored to your needs \nOngoing training and development, including support for professional memberships \n\nHow do I apply? \n\nWe can only accept online applications.
