Job Description
Chery Automobile is a leading Chinese auto company and an international brand whose business covers more than 80 countries and regions.
For our R&D Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a Materials Regulation Specialist.

We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose the current European Union market automotive materials hazardous substances, recycling and other regulations development and control risks and provide solutions
- Track the material regulatory requirements of European Union countries and assist in the preparation of compliance documents required for government management
- Establish contact with European Union authorities, handle market supervision spot checks, and provide timely feedback to the country
- Handle material and regulatory issues raised by European Union member states, industry associations, and individuals regarding the company's products
Qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or above
- You have 5 years or more of relevant work experience in REACH, RRR, ELV, etc., and those with relevant work experience in European car companies are
- You understand European Union material regulations and control requirements
- You are familiar with the response plan and product development process for material compliance of European Union automakers, and understand the details of material compliance work of European Union automakers
- You have a solid foundation with government departments and automotive material regulatory organizations
- You have a pro-active and self-motivated attitude
- You are a strong communicator with an open, structured mindset, able to work cross-functionally and internationally
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
