Construction Estimator

Phoenix, AZ | On-Site

A well-established general contractor based in Phoenix, AZ area, specializing in high-quality hotel, retail, and commercial projects, is seeking a Construction Estimator with experience working with a general contractor to join its team.

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenant improvement and small ground-up construction projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with estimating software, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, and equipment
• Utilize estimating software to develop accurate project budgets
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather competitive pricing and bid information
• Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records to support future estimates
• Work closely with project managers and internal teams to align estimates with project goals
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining project quality and integrity

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with a general contractor or framing company
• Proficiency with construction estimating software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with subcontractors and vendors
• Experience estimating tenant improvement and small ground-up construction projects

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
