Technical Contracts Engineer required. Our client is a well-established industry leader within metal fabrication and machining based in Brownhills near Walsall. Due to continued success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Contracts Engineer to join the estimating team.



Technical Contracts Engineer Job Overview



Creating quotations and estimated labour, materials and tooling

Receiving and processing project enquiries from customers

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Reviewing budgets for projects

Contract reporting, monitoring and overseeing expenditures

Assisting the introduction of new machinery within the manufacturing department

Reviewing and responding to audits



Technical Contracts Engineer Job Requirements



Proven background within estimating, contracts / project management, within an engineering environment

Qualifications within engineering / manufacturing

Based in a commutable distance of Brownhills, Walsall

Good understand of manufacturing processes

Basic 2D CAD drawing skills



Technical Contracts Engineer Salary & Benefits



£40,000 - £44,000 - depending on experience

Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30. Friday 08:00 - 13:30.

26 days holiday, plus bank holidays
