Review design and bidding documents to create estimates for commercial construction projects as a drywall subcontractor.

\n

\n

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

\n

\n
• Review project plans, requirements and specifications

\n

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing

\n

• Determine labor and construction equipment costs

\n

• Prepare timely estimates of the drywall scopes of work for bidding projects

\n

• Effectively communicate with general contractors on construction details, engineering modifications, RFI’s etc.

\n

• Maintain an ongoing bid calendar, tracking addenda’s and updates to ensure bidding priorities and customers schedules are met

\n

• Responsible for accuracy of estimated takeoffs

\n

\n

\n

Minimum Skills Or Experience Requirements:

\n

\n
• Drafting and computer skills

\n

\n

\n

Desirable Skills or Experience:

\n

\n
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings

\n

• Knowledge of drywall construction costs and principles

\n

• On-Screen Takeoff/QuickBid Proficiency (OnCenter Software)

\n

• Experience in estimating or project management in the drywall scopes of work (Metal Framing, Drywall, ACT, Specialty ceilings, etc.)
