DIXIE METAL PRODUCTS – Estimator

Dixie Metal Products (“Dixie”) is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the review of metal technical specifications, details, and contract . The Estimator will be responsible for sales, estimating and negotiating infrastructure projects that are primarily miscellaneous metals and structural steel.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

· Responsible for sales / estimating and negotiating infrastructure projects in the Southeast United States.

· Projects are miscellaneous metals and structural steel.

· Generate sales leads, consult with general contractors and customers for infrastructure, municipal, and industrial projects.

· Create quotes for review of construction drawings and specifications for bid and detailed material take-offs.

· Obtaining and pricing projects for small structural steel and miscellaneous metals such as stairs, railings, ladders, grating, access platforms, etc.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

· Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Local to Ocala, FL area.
