Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and requirements
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for hardscape and amenity installations
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop complete and competitive budgets in alignment with company goals
• Collaborate with sales teams to clarify scope and pricing strategies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, labor costs, and industry standards
• Track and analyze historical data for continuous improvement in estimating accuracy
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving recommendations for clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in hardscape, landscape construction, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of hardscape materials (pavers, stone, concrete, retaining walls, etc.) and site amenities (benches, shade structures, playgrounds, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Sage Estimating and On Screen Takeoff.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities
