Estimator - Industrial and Commercial Roofing\nPortsmouth\nSalary up to £80,000 + 25 day Holiday + Pension\n\nBlaymires Recruitment is representing a specialist roofing contractor based near Portsmouth who is searching for a Roofing Estimator to join the business.\n\nThe company works directly with surveyors and building owners to deliver high-quality industrial and commercial roofing refurbishment projects across the UK.\n\nWith ambitious growth plans in place, this is an opportunity to join a thriving business and take on a senior role with long-term career prospects.\n\nThe company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Estimator with Roofing experience to take full ownership of the tendering process, managing each opportunity from enquiry right through to securing the purchase order.\n\nIn this role, you will:\n\n * Handle the entire estimating and tender process, ensuring projects are accurately scoped, specified, and priced to win work.\n\n * Attend site visits to measure up works, assess project requirements, and meet clients face-to-face to discuss proposals.\n\n * Work closely with the supply chain network, engaging manufacturers and suppliers to help develop robust, tailored specifications for each project.\n\n * Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business opportunities.\n\n * Provide detailed handovers to the Projects Team for smooth delivery of secured contracts.\n\n * Follow established processes while bringing your expertise to improve and enhance the estimating department.\n\n * Deliver consistent results, meeting targets for securing new work in the £250k–£3M range.\n\nRequirements of the role:\n\n * Proven track record in estimating and winning roofing and building envelope refurbishment projects.\n\n * Experience working directly with clients and surveyors on commercial and industrial projects.\n\n * Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems, sheeting, and cladding works.\n\n * Confident communicator, capable of leading site surveys and client discussions.\n\n * Commercially astute, organised, and self-managed, able to work under pressure to deadlines.\n\n * Experience liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to build accurate, competitive project specifications.\n\nOn Offer:\n\n * Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience.\n\n * 25 Days Holiday\n\n * Pension\n\n * Company events\n\n * Company pension\n\n * Free parking\n\n * On-site parking\n\n * Referral programme\n\nIf you would like further information, then contact Stephen Blaymires at Blaymires Recruitment
