We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator for HVAC in the construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with a solid background in project and cost estimating, commercial, mechanical, and plumbing. The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years of experience in the field and a proven track record of success. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the HVAC industry and the ability to provide accurate cost estimates for various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate HVAC cost estimates for various construction projects.
• Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Use computer software to calculate estimates, taking into consideration factors such as labor costs, material costs, and time requirements.
• Analyze blueprints and other technical documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.
• Conduct risk analysis and provide strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and labor costs.
• Consult with industry experts to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Adjust and amend estimates as necessary in response to changes and updates to projects.
• Perform regular updates on market trends and costs, economic indicators, and regulations that may impact project costs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project estimating, cost estimating, commercial, mechanical, and plumbing.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is .
• Proficient in computer software programs such as MS Office, estimating, scheduling, and CAD software.
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Superior attention to detail with the ability to predict and identify potential project risks and financial discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present cost estimates in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best prices for contracts and materials.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other relevant certification would be a plus.
