And it's also where you’ll find the freedom to grow, the support to thrive, and the chance to shape your career on your terms.\nBAM Ventures are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially astute TFM Estimator to join our team.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for Total Facilities Management contracts, covering both hard and soft services.

This role plays a critical part in supporting bid submissions, pricing strategies, and ensuring profitability across new and existing contracts.\nThis position can be based at any of our South FM Offices.\nThe position will involve a mixture of working from home, on site and working out of any regional office across the South.\nBAM operates a flexible working policy.\nMaking Possible\n• Develop cost estimates for TFM bids, including planned and reactive maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, waste management, and other FM services.\n• Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to understand client requirements.\n• Liaise with internal stakeholders (operations, procurement, finance) and external suppliers to gather pricing data.\n• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing models using industry-standard tools and internal templates.\n• Support bid teams with commercial input during tender submissions and presentations.\n• Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to optimise bid competitiveness.\n• Maintain a database of historical costs and supplier rates for benchmarking.\n• Participate in post-tender negotiations and contract handovers.\nCompetencies\n• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align bid responses with broader business objectives.\n• Results-Oriented: Committed to delivering high-quality outcomes and meeting KPIs.\n• Digital Mindset: Embrace and promote the use of digital tools (Microsoft 365, Copilot and Facilities IQ) to drive efficiency in bid preparation and submission processes.\n• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.\nPersonal Attributes\n• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team.\n• High level of attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and transparency in decision-making.\n• Resilient and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.\nMindset & Culture\n• Role model of BAM values: Sustainable, Inclusive, Reliable, Ownership, Collaborative.\n• Promotes continuous improvement and delivery excellence within the team, enhancing system and process controls.\n• Encourages a culture of digital transformation and innovation.\nYour team\nThe position will involve a mixture of working from home and working out of any regional office in the South UK.\nBAM operates a flexible working policy.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nCompetitive salary\nA wide range of family-friendly policies\nCompany car/car allowance/travel allowance\n8 % matched pension contributions\nPrivate healthcare\nLife assurance\n26 days holiday\n2 wellbeing days\n1 volunteering day\nPersonal and professional development\nWhat do you bring to the role?\n• Proven experience in estimating within the Facilities Management or Building Services sector.\n• Strong understanding of both hard and soft FM services.\n• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. Causeway, Excel, or similar tools).\n• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.\n• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.\n• Good understanding of coding SFG20.\n• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\n• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.\nQualifications\n• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related field ().\n• Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g. RICS, CICES, IWFM) is advantageous.\nAbout BAM\nBuilding a sustainable tomorrow.
