Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionJob Summary:Alliance Group is seeking full-time, experienced Electrical Estimator in Essex Junction, VT to join our growing Electrical team.  This position will work in the field and office setting.  The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for visiting job sites, pricing work, and drafting proposals regarding commercial/industrial electrical jobs.  The Estimator will work closely with project managers to help forecast the workload and accommodate unexpected changes to ensure that all work is completed in an efficient, timely manner. 
Key Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to acquire and price work and draft proposals for plan and specific work.
• Design work and run load calculations for new and retrofit applications.
• Work with project managers to write change orders and RFIs for ongoing projects.
• Generate estimated material list for projects.
• Work with project managers to bill out jobs monthly.

Essential Qualifications and Competencies·  Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience in the mechanical and/or trades field required.·   Electrical Journeyman or Masters license is required.·   High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.·   Knowledge of Build-Ops platform desired but not required.·   Very strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.·    Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and oral.·    Excellent customer service competencies required.·    High-level proactive, positive problem-solving skills.·    Ability to work efficiently and identify inefficiencies in work processes.·    High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity.·    Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player.·    Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.·    Must maintain a company vehicle.·    Must be able to climb up and down ladders and stairs as job requires.·    10-20% travel, primarily locally.  Occasional travel to other site offices located in/around Clarendon, VT, West Lebanon, NH and Plattsburgh, NY, will be required. Company vehicle and gas card provided.·    The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.·    U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory·    A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
