Estimator
Location: Edinburgh
An established specialist contractor in the construction sector is looking for an Estimator to join their commercial team. Working across complex scaffolding, temporary works and structural support projects, this role offers exposure to varied and challenging schemes across infrastructure, civil engineering and commercial builds.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for scaffolding, access and temporary works packages
Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Prepare BOQs, pricing schedules and rate build-ups
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations
Support tender submissions and attend site visits as required
Requirements
Estimating experience within construction
Background in scaffolding, temporary works or specialist access
Strong understanding of drawings and construction processes
Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
