Company: Our client is a well-established and reputable Civil Engineering Contractor specialising in refurbishing and strengthening across roads, bridges, tracks, and infrastructure projects.

\nRole Overview:

\nThe Estimator/Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil engineering projects. This includes analysing project requirements, sourcing materials, and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers. The role demands a meticulous approach to ensure all estimates are thorough and align with the company's high standards.

\nKey Responsibilities:

• - Develop detailed cost estimates for large-scale civil engineering projects

\n\n

• - Evaluate and interpret project specifications and drawings

\n\n

• - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders

\n\n

• - Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors

\n\n

• - Monitor and adjust estimates as project parameters evolve

\nSkills and Experience Required:

\n\n

\n
• - Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in the civil engineering sector

\n\n

• - Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations

\n\n

• - Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

\n\n

• - Excellent analytical and numerical skills

\n\n

• - Strong communication and negotiation abilities

\n\n

• - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
