Job Details

As a Flooring Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive bids for commercial and industrial flooring projects. You will:

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents for flooring scope.

• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for epoxy, polished concrete, sealing, and other commercial flooring systems.

• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost structures.

• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages to submit to clients and general contractors.

• Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client meetings as needed.

• Support project turnover and assist with scope clarification during project startup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial flooring estimating (epoxy, polished concrete, sealing, coatings, etc.).

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

• Proficiency with takeoff/estimating software (Bluebeam, OST, or similar).

• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Proven track record of accuracy in bids and successful project awards.
