Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis position works with several parts of our company from clients and subcontractors to suppliers and vendors. Estimating plan work for J&S Siding. This position will allow you to help customers while maintaining cost and quality at every step.  Come work for a team of awesome! 

Responsibilities/Duties

• Represent our company products and services being able to identify how our solutions meet the needs of our clients.
• Solicitation of bids / Quotes through Builder-Trend
• Estimate material quantities for J&S Siding Projects 
• Responsible for creating, maintaining, and continually improving project takeoffs in Plan-Swift estimating software.
• Responsible for modification of existing plans for estimating. 
• Responsible for being technical support regarding issues with Plan-Swift. This also includes non-estimating issues as needed. 
• Any other duties as assigned 

SKILLS

• Ability and desire to work collaboratively and ensure successful project execution
• High level of experience with computer operating systems.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
• Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills for collaborating effectively with others
• Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines 
• Home and Construction Knowledge 
• Construction Estimation Experience 2 years of experience Estimating in a construction environment  
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Team Player Attitude
