Estimating Assistant
Location: Moorhead, MN

Opatril Concrete Construction Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimating Assistant to join our team for the upcoming cycle & concrete Season. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction estimating and project planning at a company with over 50 years of excellence in cast-in-place concrete construction.

What You’ll Do
As an Estimating Assistant , you’ll work directly with our Lead Estimator and our Project Manager's team to support the preparation of competitive bids and proposals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing project plans, drawings, and specifications
- Performing quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu
Assisting with cost estimates and bid documentation - Organizing subcontractor and vendor quotes
Supporting proposal submissions and internal bid reviews - Collaborating with the team on real-time project opportunities
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a motivated student who is:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Architecture, or a related field
- Someone who's willing to work with us for the length of the concrete season (February-November).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data
- Familiar with or eager to learn Bluebeam Revu
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute who's a strong communicator and team player
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and holds a valid driver’s license
