About the Role

This position supports both our estimating and preconstruction project management functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our bids are accurate, competitive, and on time — while helping bridge the gap between estimating and operations for a smooth project handoff.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for multifamily and commercial projects.
• Solicit and compile pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track all incoming bid invitations, deadlines, and submissions to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate directly with general contractors to provide bid status updates and clarifications.
• Support preconstruction project management by confirming scope of work, schedule expectations, and job readiness.
• Assist with payroll verification for subcontractors based on completed work.
• Maintain and organize project files, bid logs, and correspondence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in estimating or preconstruction within the construction industry (stone, tile, or countertop experience a plus).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; experience with digital takeoff software required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills with both internal teams and general contractors.
• Must be able to work 100% on-site at our Roswell, GA office.
