As an Estimator, youll play a key role in capturing revenue and ensuring the financial success of our projects through precision and insight.


About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Estimator to own the quoting and pricing process for our custom and standard product offerings. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Project Management, Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project goals. The Estimator also plays a strategic role in maintaining product pricing, tracking margin health, and improving financial visibility throughout the company.

Youll need to be highly detail-oriented, math-savvy, and collaborativesomeone who can spot gaps, ask smart questions, and drive alignment between vision and execution.


Primary Responsibilities

Quoting, Sales Orders, and Work Orders

  • Build and maintain quotes using standard and custom product data
  • Align estimates with sales/design intent and clarify discrepancies
  • Assign and maintain part numbers and assemblies
  • Update estimates and WOs based on changes during fulfillment
  • Account for labor costs accurately

Pricing & Standards Management

  • Maintain all standard products and pricing within ERP assemblies
  • Audit and update material and labor rates as market costs fluctuate
  • Monitor margin performance on quotes and suggest improvements
  • Benchmark pricing on common items to remain competitive
  • Set and maintain quoting and order-entry standards for consistency across teams

Reporting & Process Optimization

  • Track and report on project profitability
  • Collaborate with project and operations teams to assess estimate accuracy
  • Support development of better workflows and efficiencies in ERP
  • Provide clear documentation to guide operational teams


Qualifications

  • Experience estimating in signage, fabrication, construction, or a related field a plus
  • Advanced math and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and job costing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and computer savvy
  • Experience with CRM/ERP/POS software (Salesforce, ClickUp, and NetSuite)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and follow-through
