We're seeking an Estimator to join a well-established main contractor specialising in housing projects (both new build and refurbishment). With secured work across South Wales for 2026, this is a great opportunity to work on larger-scale developments.



Role Overview



Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders and live projects

Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documents for labour, materials, and subcontractor services

Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

Produce professional tender submissions and ensure timely delivery

Conduct post-project cost analysis, reporting variances to management

Support directors, site teams, and commercial colleagues when required



What We're Looking For



Proven experience in estimating, ideally within social housing (new build & refurbishment)

Relevant qualification (HNC/Diploma/Degree in Construction or related discipline)

Strong MS Office skills, with excellent literacy and attention to detail

Ability to interpret architectural and M&E drawings

Self-motivated, organised, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
