Ridgeway & Co are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team in London. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-value projects while developing your career within a leading contractor.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Prepare accurate cost estimates for large-scale construction projects\n\n * \n\n Analyse drawings, specifications, and other tender documentation to produce competitive bids\n\n * \n\n Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and assess value\n\n * \n\n Work closely with pre-construction and commercial teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in submissions\n\n * \n\n Contribute to risk analysis and value engineering opportunities\n\n * \n\n Present estimates and reports to senior management\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as an Estimator with a Tier 1 main contractor\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of cost planning and tendering processes\n\n * \n\n Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents\n\n * \n\n Excellent commercial and numerical skills with strong attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office\n\n * \n\n Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Construction Management
