We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in manufacturing. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for steel fabrication and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material costs, labor, BOMs, and the full job quoting process.

• Review drawings, specifications, and RFQs to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Analyze steel and material requirements, labor, and equipment needs
• Develop and maintain BOMs and routing data
• Work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate pricing
• Create and manage quotes, tracking revisions and customer feedback
• Assist in improving estimating processes and cost tracking systems

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing estimating role
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with BOM creation and job routing
• Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software
• Strong analytical and math skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management

• Background in custom fabrication or job shop environments
• Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, or similar software

Pay:

• $62k-$72k
