Estimator

A contractor specialising in architectural metalwork is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis in Essex.



Salary: £45,000 - £60,000

Start Date: ASAP

Work Arrangement: Full-time, permanent



Key Responsibilities

* Preparing accurate cost estimates and take-offs for architectural metalwork packages

* Reviewing technical drawings and specifications using Excel and Bluebeam

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information

* Supporting the pre-construction team with budget planning and tender submissions



Requirements

* Previous estimating experience within the construction or metalwork sector

* Proficient with Excel and Bluebeam

* Ability to interpret architectural and fabrication drawings

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills



Projects

* Estimating packages valued up to £4 million.
