Estimator - Civil Site Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator with Civil Site Construction experience to join our team! The ideal candidate would be a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives under guidance but also excels working independently. Recent growth has led to opportunities to join our established civil construction company in the Brandon/Riverview area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of preliminary and final civil construction plans in preparation for bid proposals.
• Review appropriate municipal specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs of earthwork, grading, paving, utilities, and site concrete for private and public sector projects.
• Obtain and review vendor quotations.
• Various office tasks related to construction estimating on an as needed basis.

Requirements:

• Able to read and interpret civil construction plans and documents.
• Able to adhere to guidelines and complete project tasks in established time frames.
• A detail-oriented team player with strong communications skills.
• Familiar with MS Office, AGTEK, Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• Professional experience in earthwork, utilities and roadwork construction is required.
• 5 + years in Civil Construction is HIGHLY .
• Civil engineering or related construction degree a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In-person

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• Weekends as needed

Salary: The salary for this position will be commensurate according to experience.
