Mid Weight Estimator | £40,000 - £60,000 | Essex | Fit Out | Permanent I am looking for an Estimator. A good one.Somebody who is looking for a new opportunity with a specialist Design & Build main contractor or somebody who is not necessarily looking but could be tempted by something a bit different. This contractor is based in Essex (which in itself is a bit different from our usual central London stomping ground) and could appeal to somebody who is fed up jumping on the tube every day. They work on projects up to and around the £2m mark across commercial office, high-end residential and public sector schemes. Working directly alongside the owner of the business, the Estimator will play a key role as part of a small, tight-knit team to ensure the business continues to win and deliver work to the highest standards. All the usual duties will be carried out including reviewing tender information, BOQs, tender submissions, negotiating final contract sums while supporting the pre-construction, technical and planning functions within the team. This business has been built around core principles of honesty and integrity and all employees will be expected to respect, live and breathe these values in their day-to-day work. Experience of working with a main contractor on similar projects would be extremely beneficial with a preference for somebody who can demonstrate high-end residential/commercial experience.
