The Estimator Role



In this vital role, the successful Estimator will be instrumental in securing and accurately pricing new projects. This ensures that the company not only maintains its competitive edge but also upholds its high standards of quality. Collaborating closely with project management teams, the Estimator will align all financial estimates with the company's strategic goals and client expectations.



Responsibilities



Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for high-end commercial and residential projects, including refurbishments, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all financial aspects.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather all necessary information for accurate pricing.

Analysis: Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.

Cost Management: Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of projects, monitor actual costs relative to bids, and identify areas for financial improvement.

Market Awareness: Keep updated on industry trends, costs, materials, and construction methodologies to enhance accuracy and effectiveness.

Proven Background: Extensive experience as an Estimator in the high-end commercial and residential sectors, supported by a portfolio of successful projects.

Specialist Knowledge: Expertise in refurbishment projects with a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of luxury specifications.

Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, essential for generating precise and detailed financial reports.

Communication: Strong negotiation and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, contractors, and team members.

Educational Qualification: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is .
