Estimation Engineer Fire Protection Systems

What Will You Do

As an Estimation Engineer specializing in Fire Protection you will play a crucial role in delivering budgetary proposals and preparing competitive bids that meet customer requirements during project planning and execution stages.

How Will You Do It

• Support Consultants PMCs EPCs and End Users by preparing budgetary proposals during the FEED stage.
• Manage and organize tender-related files quotations and associated documents.
• Conduct site surveys attend bid-clarification meetings and compile detailed reports.
• Review tender documents seek clarifications and ensure thorough understanding in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Engage with sub-vendors and subcontractors ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
• Estimate costs for products engineering labor and project management collaborating with internal teams for accuracy.
• Prepare risk registers and allocate costs where necessary ensuring stakeholder approvals are obtained.
• Submit structured proposals aligned with customer requirements and company policies.
• Participate in techno-commercial negotiations and ensure seamless project handovers to the operations team.
• Integrate accountability safety integrity and trust by ensuring all processes adhere to Johnson Controls standards.

What We Look For

• Education & Experience:Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection Systems.
• Technical Expertise:Knowledge of NFPA standards local codes ADNOC requirements and Oil & Gas industry practices.
• Software Proficiency:Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
• Skills & Attributes:Strong negotiation vendor management and effective communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tenders and collaborate with diverse teams.
