Estimation Engineer-Fire & Gas Systems

What You Will Do

As an Estimation Engineer specializing in Fire & Gas Systems you will play a critical role in developing competitive bid proposals. Your expertise will support Consultant PMC EPC and End Users by providing budgetary proposals during the FEED stage. You will be responsible for reviewing tender documents conducting site surveys attending bid-clarification meetings estimating project costs and preparing detailed estimation sheets in line with Johnson Controls policies.

How You Will Do It

• Receive maintain and organize tender files quotations and associated documents.

• Conduct site surveys and maintain comprehensive reports.

• Seek clarifications from customers or department managers regarding tender documents.

• Source and analyze quotations from sub-vendors and sub-contractors in compliance with company policies.

• Estimate costs for products engineering labor and project management.

• Collaborate with various departmentsOperations Legal Logistics Procurement and Financeto determine related costs and terms.

• Ensure all stakeholder approvals are obtained and support the DOA approval process when required.

• Prepare and submit proposals aligned with customer requirements and company procedures.

• Engage in technical and commercial negotiations and ensure compliance with final purchase orders.

• Organize proper handover of project documents to the Operations team.

• Participate in kickoff meetings and QHSE training programs.

What We Look For

• Education & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline with 3 to 5 years of experience in Fire & Gas Systems.

• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with NFPA standards ADNOC requirements and local Oil & Gas industry practices.

• Software Proficiency: Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.

• Skills & Attributes: Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities result-oriented mindset excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
