TruBlu HR Solutions is hiring an Estimating Manager on behalf of CJR Renewables, a leader in renewable energy project development. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an experienced estimator with a background in electrical and civil construction.

The Estimating Manager will be responsible for overseeing and preparing cost estimates for wind and solar energy projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to support bid strategies and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment

• Issue RFQs and analyze subcontractor/vendor proposals

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams during bid development

• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools

• Support value engineering and risk analysis initiatives

• Travel to project sites as needed for estimate validation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and civil construction estimating

• Strong proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with renewable energy projects (wind/solar) strongly

• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• PMP or AACE certification is a plus
