ESP Field Service Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • 1 year of field service technical experience installing/Pulling electrical submersible pumps 

  • Carrying out all pre-commissioning checks and tests to ensure successful start-up and continuous operation of ESP Equipment. 

  • Deliver, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on ESP/VSD equipment as required. 

  • Must have start-up and trouble-shooting experience with VSD’s. 

  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing ESP to maximize operation and well productivity 

  • Knowledge of machinery and equipment as it relates to ESP systems. 

  • Collaborate frequently with internal and external customers. 

  • Complete daily timesheet of hours worked.  

  • Complete all required training as scheduled. 

  • The ability to collect information during testing and inspection to provide customers with recommendations on equipment status. 

  • Complete all job-related forms and reports accurately, completely and in a timely manner; field service tickets provided to invoicing no later than 24 hours after completion of an installation, pull or service call. 

  • Know and enforce safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety processes and report any safety issues to proper channels for action. 

  • Maintain and improve customer relationships with all customers and work with others to optimize business opportunities. 

  • Maintain assigned vehicle, inside and outside, and ensure regularly scheduled maintenance is completed. 

  • Working with other field specialists as a team to ensure all tasks’ efficiency and quality 

  • Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas, including company truck. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma with a Mechanical or Electrical Background 

  • Excellent communication, technical and critical thinking skills. 

  • Basic Computer skills 

  • Candidates must have a valid driver’s license 

  • Candidates must be team players 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Formal training on basic ESP or VSD 

  • High work ethic, dependability, and focus on details. 

  • Ability to work in remote locations without immediate supervision.
