Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format spreadsheets for NetSuite item imports.
- Ensure all required fields (Item Name, Unit of Measure, Cost, Price, Categories, etc.) are complete and accurate.
- Follow company naming conventions, standards, and Chart of Accounts structure.
- Validate data for accuracy, consistency, and formatting before import.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or incomplete records.
- Communicate with internal teams to clarify missing or conflicting information.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, assumptions, and procedures.
- Train new hires on the system following its implementation.
Qualifications:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, conditional formatting, data validation).
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with CSV file formats and basic principles of importing data into systems.
- Understanding of NetSuite item standards or ability to learn them quickly.
- Basic knowledge of Chart of Accounts structure (Revenue, COGS, Inventory, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Able to adapt in a growing company.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Basic accounting knowledge, especially related to inventory and financial accounts.
- Experience with mass data uploads and structured import templates.
- Data cleaning, validation, and normalization experience.
- Familiarity with Power Query, Smartsheet, or basic SQL (a plus).
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot import errors independently.
- Understanding of inventory management concepts (Units of Measure, Item Categories, Assemblies).
- Commitment to confidentiality and data security practices.
