POSITION SUMMARY
The ERP Business Application Analyst will be responsible for application support, automation workflow design, change management, system administration, and project management. Individuals accepting this role will be asked to be the primary subject matter expert and product owner for our core ERP system (IPTOR DC1/XT) which runs on the IBM iSeries platform utilizing DB2 and RPGILE programming . In addition, is responsible for overseeing and actively engaged in designing, building, and maintaining the entire environment for this core ERP application working with the overseeing multiple vendor partners who provide remote managed services to maintain the iSeries and ERP application. Communication at all levels of the organization is required.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Primary Subject Matter Expert and product owner/sponsor for core ERP system (IPTOR DC1/XT).
- Develop methodology documents based on self-initiated interviews, diagrams, surveys, and workflow analysis.
- Research and analyze all aspects of existing business processes and help draft, refine, and promote proposed solutions for advancing automation.
- Research, identify, track, and communicate incidents and problems with core business applications within purview.
- Communicate and coordinate with department leadership about common issues that interrupt workflow.
- Actively participates in the testing and implementation of new software applications as well as test current application functionally when updates are performed.
- Create/Assist in developing training material to train end-users in the use of software applications.
- Organizes and prioritizes assigned tasks to meet established schedules, timeliness and/or deadlines.
- Serves as system administrator for the IBM I oversee security, system resources, message monitoring, etc.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Assist with project management discipline.
- Assist with change management discipline.
Requirements:
- College or advanced degree
- Experience and knowledge of IPTOR DC1/XT ERP system
- Experience and knowledge of IBM I operating system, utilities and CL programming skills
- Ability to read RPG code is helpful, not required.
- Fluent in English (read, write, and verbal communication)
- Experience with accounting and/or managed warehouse processes a plus.
