ERP Implementation Consultant

Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid)

Company Overview

The company is expanding rapidly through acquisitions and is building a modern, scalable IT infrastructure to support its continued growth. As part of this initiative, the company is seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant to lead the evaluation, selection, and full implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.

This individual will play a strategic role in shaping the companies digital foundation, working directly with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify the right system, guide the RFP and selection process, and oversee the implementation from cradle to grave.

Position Overview

The ERP Implementation Consultant will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on project leader. This role requires an individual with deep ERP expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with executives, department heads, and technical teams.

You will lead the entire lifecycle of ERP implementation, from needs assessment and vendor selection to configuration, testing, training, and post-launch support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead ERP System Selection:

• Evaluate and compare ERP platforms (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, Oracle) to identify the best fit for organizational needs.
• Develop and manage the RFP process, coordinating vendor demos, proposal reviews, and selection recommendations.

Executive Collaboration:

• Work directly with the Director of IT, CFO, and executive leadership to align ERP goals with business objectives.
• Present findings, timelines, and ROI analyses to key stakeholders.

Implementation Leadership:

• Oversee full ERP implementation lifecycle, including planning, data migration, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Serve as project manager, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Partner with internal IT and departmental teams to ensure successful system integration.

Business Process Alignment:

• Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements aligned with ERP functionality.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the selected platform.

Change Management & Training:

• Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation.
• Drive user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives post-implementation.

Reporting & Insights:

• Create executive-level reporting and dashboards for performance tracking and operational visibility.

 Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience with ERP systems (SAP, Sage, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Proven track record in leading full-cycle ERP implementations from planning to go-live.
• Strong understanding of business process design, integration, and optimization.
• Demonstrated experience managing RFP processes and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills; PMP or similar certification a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree () in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related industries is highly .
