Title: ERP Applications Analyst
Location: City of Industry – on site, CA
Duration: Full-Time Employment with CLIENT
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled ERP / Applications Analyst to support the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications across business units. This role requires a balanced understanding of both functional and technical aspects of ERP systems and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. The ideal candidate is analytical, communicative, and thrives in a collaborative environment where cross-functional teamwork is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements, translating them into system configurations and enhancements
- Provide daily user support and troubleshooting for ERP (currently JDE) and related business applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement standardized solutions.
- Participate in the full systems development life cycle (SDLC) including design, testing, and deployment
- Assist in the design of dashboards, reports, and user interfaces that support business operations and decision-making
- Partner with developers to design and test application enhancements, integrations, and automation solutions
- Maintain functional specifications and support documentation to ensure long-term system sustainability
- Lead projects or workstreams across functional and technical areas as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication skills—able to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and support decision-making through data.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, Yardi, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Experience with financial modules (e.g., A/P, A/R, G/L), asset management, or project/job costing is a plus
- Proficient in SQL and capable of extracting and analyzing data across systems
- Experience designing user experiences and workflows (e.g., dashboards, queries, automated processes)
- Exposure to report development tools (e.g., Hubble, Power BI, or Tableau) is advantageous
- Exposure to Microsoft Development Tools (e.g. SharePoint, etc.)
- Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
