Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob description:Full job descriptionJob Summary: Maintain knowledge of on and off highway vehicles and equipment for diesel, gas, electrical, air, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems and their components. Provide service, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair for malfunctions or failures of key systems and components. Evaluate for root cause failures using electronic tools, failure analysis, and schematicsJob Responsibility:
- Maintain mid to extensive working knowledge of hydraulic, fuel, brakes, air conditioning power train, air brake, diesel and gas engine system
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures
- Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment components
- Maintain positive attitude
- Maintain company equipment – keep in good clean orderly condition and report deficiencies to supervisors
- Complete related paperwork Maintain ability and experience to perform federally required DOT annual
- Work safely always. Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards
- Promote Suntec core principles to cultivate a collaborative accountable work culture and create an ESOP mindset that emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and long-term investment
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written instructions and information to associates, and management regarding vehicle/component/equipment conditions, problems, recommendations and repair process
- Basic computer and internet knowledge is REQUIRED
- Knowledge and skills to operate and understand scanning and diagnostic equipment including computerized instrumentation
- Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming to adhere to company policy.
- Ability to work cooperatively
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment
