Job Description:

Evergreen Excavating LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our growing team. We perform a mix of private and public works projects, including prevailing wage jobs, and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders

• Perform site work such as excavation, grading, trenching, and utility installation

• Read and interpret plans, grade stakes, and project specifications

• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

• Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-5 years of heavy equipment operating experience

• Strong understanding of site development and excavation processes

• Experience with both private and public/prevailing wage projects

• Ability to read plans and grade effectively

• Valid driver’s license (CDL but not required)

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude
