POSITION SUMMARY
Tooperateequipmentsafelyandefficientlyasassigned,whilemeetingproductiongoalsandqualitystandardswhilementoringapprenticesandoperatortechs,whoareworkingwithyou,togrowintheirrolesandoperatingcapabilities
ESSENTIALDUTIES
- Safelyoperateequipment,withoutincidentwhilemaintainingdailyinspectionlogsaswellasdailypreventativemaintenancechecks
- Efficiently/effectivelyoperateequipmenttoincreaseengagementanddecreasedowntime,whileproperlycommunicatingwiththeprojectSupervisiononanyissuesthatareencounteredthroughouttheday
- Workhandinhandwithotherteammemberstoencouragetheirgrowthandtheoverallprogresstowardsthedaily,weekly,monthlyandoverallprojectgoals
- Understandhowtoutilizetheassignedtechnologytooperatemoreefficiently,reducecycletimesaswellasoverallgradingdurationsandinsureproperdrainageatalltimes
- CapableofunderstandingsoilandcompactionrequirementsandcommunicatingwiththeprojectSupervisionwhatisbeingexperiencedinthefieldrelatedtosoiltypes
- Performsallassignedtasks,responsibilities,andrelatedworkprocessesinthesafestpossiblemanner,alwaysensuringthatasafe,accident/incident-freeworkenvironmentismaintainedforallcoworkers,clients,suppliers,etc.atalltimes.
