Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Production Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift (2pm–10pm) and 3rd shift team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair motors, belts, drives, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Must be able to do the job with little supervision. You will train on day shift.
Required Experience:
You must have hands-on experience with PID loop controls (Proportional-Integral-Derivative controllers)—using them to manage process variables by adjusting inputs based on the difference between a setpoint and the actual measured value.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems (TPI)
· You will do preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, facility support
· Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues (including 480V systems, motors, drives, and PID loops)
· Install, modify, and rebuild machinery and production lines
· Weld, fabricate, and assemble parts as needed
· Maintain accurate service records and support production uptime goals
· Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams

Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required
· 5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
· Experience with PLCs, drives, motors, and control systems
· MVP maintenance tracking system a PLUS
· Proficient hand tools, power tools, welders, machining equipment (HAVE YOUR OWN HAND TOOLS)
