This full time position is a 7:00-3:30 day shift for the right individual that is mechanically inclined, and consists of the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain punch press and operating equipment as instructed by Supervisors, in addition to preventative maintenance projects on a regularly scheduled basis
• Maintain safety equipment and a safe work environment for all employees and equipment
• Team-oriented approach in all troubleshooting with a constant focus on safety rules and regulations
• Maintain general upkeep of buildings and infrastructure ranging from coats of paint to trimming bushes on facility grounds
• Basic abilities to handle projects throughout the building including replacements and repairs
• Attention to detail that all jobs are completed and potential problems are addressed with Supervisors
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being actively involved in assigned projects and lifting of 40+ lbs.
• Previous experience as general handyman, including electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, appliance and auto repairs, etc. in an industrial atmosphere is a plus
• Weekly janitorial consisting of bathrooms, mopping floors, dusting, vaccumming and trash removal
• Proven working experience as a cleaner
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity
• High School Degree
