Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEastern Environmental Solutions (EES) is a full-service environmental contracting and remediation firm leading in environmental response, remediation, and restoration services.  EES is based in Manorville, NY; and provides industry services for:  government, commercial and residential customers with outstanding service.  Job Description EES is actively seeking a highly motivated, well experienced, and skilled field technician who specializes in very unique skills which include restoration and mold remediation.  This is a full-time position and requires an individual that is team oriented, a multi-tasker, as well as, a strong individual contributor with a superior sense of urgency. Common duties include:Responding to water, mold, and oil-related emergencies, such as floods and leaks, to mitigate damage and restore affected areas.   Duties include assessing the extent of water damage, extracting water and oil, removing damaged materials, implementing drying techniques, sanitizing affected spaces, and using moisture meters to monitor progress.  Providing exceptional services to our customers while following company policies are essential for this role. Participating in emergency response and being on call - Some evening and weekend on-call hours are necessary as we are a 24/7 disaster response company.

Qualifications:

• NY State Mold Certification is not required but a plus
• Experience with mold remediation or water restoration
• Experience with tank abandonments and removals and the installation of new tanks.
• Related experience and/or training in sales and working with the public, or equivalent combination experience
• Construction restoration experience
• Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed and spill response is a must
• Valid, US driver's license 
• Clean driving record with ability to obtain and maintain a NYSDMV medical card.
• Able to move/lift/push/pull/carry an average of 50lbs.

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires driving a company vehicle.   Must be 19 years of .  Drug screening and motor vehicle record check will be performed on all new hires. 

For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $22.00 - $32.00 per hour.  Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and other factors permitted by law. Eligible employees are provided with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, supplemental insurance, 401K (with company match), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.  Uniforms are provided. Top pay for qualifying candidates with potential for growth.   Eastern Environmental Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business We are an EOE AAP M/F/V/D.
