Environmental Services - Maintenance

Position Summary: Perform various maintenance duties including repairing apartment building interiors, fixtures, common areas, grounds and property exteriors in a manner that is consistent with all licensing, accreditation, local and state building codes, and company standards.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience in general structural and mechanical repair, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and yard work
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
Proficiency with hand tools and ability to supply personal tools for tasks
Ability to follow a work order system and execute tasks with varying levels of supervision
Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements
Must be able to communicate effectively, read, write, and use basic computer functions
Responsibilities:
1. Work hours prescribed and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Some overtime may be required. 2. Review and respond to assigned tasks in the work ticket system for repairs across all facility buildings. 3. Adhere to OSHA regulations and safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout, personal protective equipment, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) procedures. 4. Collaborate with outside contractors when necessary. 5. Perform routine building maintenance, both corrective and preventive, as assigned. 6. Conduct weekly inspections of facility vehicles to ensure safe operation. 7. Perform weekly and monthly inspections throughout the buildings. 8. Assist leadership in necessary in-house repairs not requiring an outside source, i.e. changing filters, motors, painting, snow removal and other miscellaneous duties as they occur. 9. Perform room set ups, move furniture and assist housekeeping when needed. 10. Perform carpet extraction and related floor repairs when required. 11. Serve as a member of the Environmental Services (ES) Team and participate in all team meetings and activities. 12. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. 13. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. 14. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance. 15. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Compensation & Rewards: Based on education, experience, and credentials
Starting pay HS/GED - $18.43/hr.
Starting pay Associates - $19.37/hr.
Starting pay Bachelors - $20.25/hr.
Additional $.50/hr. with CADC certification
Shift Differentials
2nd shift: +$.25/hr
3rd shift: +$.50
Incentives: $0.50/hr with CADC certification
