Due to MSG’s continued growth, a new opening is available for an Environmental Scientist / Project Manager to assist with our environmental site assessment, remediation, and re-use planning projects.  This is a full-time position available in our Maumee, Cleveland, Columbus, or Cincinnati, Ohio offices! 


Key Responsibilities

  • Project management for environmental site assessment, remediation, and re-use planning projects.
  • Technical task management for due diligence assessments, environmental investigations, and remedial feasibility studies.
  • Support design and bid specification development of environmental remediation projects.
  • Data synthesis, evaluation, and technical reporting.
  • Support business development and proposal preparation including preparing detailed scopes of work and cost budgets.



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • B.S. or M.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or regulatory work.
  • Expertise in completing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM International Standard Practice E1527-21 “Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I ESA Process”
  • Knowledge of Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program (VAP) and Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) rules, regulations, and guidance.
  • Ability to interpret site plans and physical setting maps
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
